The recipes of three winter cocktails from Bacardi Martini: ideal drinks to celebrate Christmas Holidays.
Three trendy ideas to toast in joy during the upcoming Christmas holidays. And our way to wish you and thank you.
Now a few days off but … don’t worry, after Christmas we’ll be here again with always new articles.
We therefore asked our expert and friend Carlo Dutto to suggest something particularly suitable for the occasion, and here is what he recommended:
Bacardi Martini welcomes winter 2019 with three drinks designed specifically for the cold season, three variants that pay homage to the Spritz and Negroni, this year to its first Centenary. Three drinks with three different shades for three different moments of the evening, from the aperitif to after dinner to the night to live and enjoy, (always drinking in moderation). From the mix of apple, chocolate and bitter orange to bourbon which takes the place of gin in the classic of the Florentine Count, up to lemon and walnut in some of its variations. Winter is in the glass, whether it’s a Martini cup or a highball… Taste is what matters!
The Recipes
DRINK: JINGLE SPRITZ MARTINI
A light aperitif cocktail, perfect mix of bitter orange, chocolate and apple that combine in a unique Christmas cocktail, excellent variant of the spritz.
Ingredients
50 ml Martini Fiero
50 ml sparkling apple juice
50 ml Martini Asti
4 dashes of chocolate chips
Preparation
Pour the ingredients one by one into a glass full of ice and garnish with currants and a sprinkling of iced sugar.
DRINK: SPICED BOULEVARDIER MARTINI
A variant of the classic Negroni, which this year turns 100. Martini pays homage to the Florentine count for a winter drink, which uses bourbon whiskey instead of gin.
Ingredients
35 ml Bourbon
15 ml Martini Riserva Bitter
15 ml Martini Riserva Rubino
2 dashes of bitter spices
Preparation
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing glass, turn with a barspoon and, with the double strain technique, pour into a small bowl, garnishing with an orange slice.
DRINK: WINTER 75 MARTINI
After a summer of long drinks, spritz and many of its variations, Martini thinks of winter with a stronger drink that will make the difference. A highball glass drink, a simple bridge between the two seasons, hot and cold, a viaticum towards a unique aperitif.
Ingredients
30 ml Amber Martini
20 ml fresh lemon juice
10 ml sugar syrup with gum arabic
2 dashes of black walnut and bitter pecan
Champagne top
Preparation
Pour the Amber Martini, the freshly squeezed lemon juice, the bitters with the walnuts and the sugar syrup with the addition of gum arabic into a shaker. Shake everything and pour into a highball glass, then add an ice cube, top of champagne, turn with a barspoon and garnish with a lemon twist.
WARNING!
We recommend that you always drink alcohol in moderation and above all, do not drive after doing it.
