Drink Bready Crusta. Another cocktail inspired by a movie: “Pane Amore E …” with Sophia Loren and Vittorio de Sica, created by Sabina Yausheva.

It will still take some time before we can enjoy again a good drink in the places where fans are used to meet each other. So we continue, thanks to the collaboration of our trusted expert Carlo Dutto, to offer our readers the recipes of excellent cocktails created by the most prominent names in the Italian mixology world. Of course, always drinking responsibly!

DRINK: BREADY CRUSTA

(inspired by the film “Bread, Love and …”, by Dino Risi, 1955)

BARTENDER: Sabina Yausheva, bartender of the Bar Julep of the Hotel de la Ville in Rome (You can see her while mixing HERE)

INGREDIENTS:

4.5 cl Cardenal Mendoza brandy

1.5 cl Limoncello Pallini

2 drops of angostura

1 teaspoon of sugar syrup

Top of Champagne Jacquart

Bread crust flavoring

Garnish: caster sugar and bread crust

PREPARATION:

Prepare previously a glass with a line of bread crust and one of sugar. Refrigerate to cool it while preparing the cocktail. Then pour the Cardenal Mendoza brandy, the Limoncello Pallini, the drops of angostura and a teaspoon of sugar syrup into a shaker. Shake vigorously for about ten seconds, then, with a strainer and a strainer, pour the contents into the glass. Once completed, add a top of Champagne Jacquart and finally sprinkle the aroma on the bread crust.

INSPIRATION:

Inspired by the film by Dino Risi, the third film of the tetralogy Bread, love and … set in Sorrento, where Marshal Antonio Carotenuto, played by Vittorio de Sica, is summoned to direct the local police station. It will be Donna Violante, his fiancée, who will host him at home, just like champagne dominates the concept of welcome. The marshal’s attention is captured by a beautiful Sophia Loren, a fishmonger from Sorrento to whom we can only attribute the Limoncello Pallini. After a series of vicissitudes in this love triangle Antonio Carotenuto will be forced to leave the Amalfi Coast to leave for the Iberian Peninsula, and here comes the brandy Cardenal Mendoza. We also want to remember the bread, as the film’s title suggests, which will be brought to mind with a spray of bread crust flavoring.

Cognac Hine Inspires 3 Movie Cocktail

Sat Apr 11 , 2020
More drinks inspired by the world of cinema: three cocktails with Cognac Hine created by the best Italian mixologists.    Just before Easter, even in the hard times we’re living, we’d like to send our best wishes to our loyal readers and therefore we publish this fourth (albeit in a reduced format) episode dedicated to cocktail inspired by movies. A trend that evidently “tickled” the imagination of the Italian mixologists so much and which is highly appreciated by the readers. As usual, we immediately give the floor to our friend Carlo Dutto who will introduce the Maison Hine and […]
