Get lost in Paradise, is written on the map of an exclusive resort, rated in the Top 50 of the world, an hour’s flight from Bali.
Take a secluded island in Indonesia, covered with lush vegetation, choose there a remote corner with a long white beach washed by a sea of pure colors, add a group of splendid villas equipped with all the comforts and perfectly inserted in the surrounding natural environment, add first-rate service, great food, excursions at will and the daily spectacle of the colors of the sky and the sea … and here is the motto “Get lost in Paradise” of the NIHI Sumba begins to become reality. A hidden reality, exclusive and reserved only for the fortunate few, as a must for a self-respecting Earthly Paradise.
A place initially discovered by Surf enthusiasts, always looking for magical “spots” where to practice their sport, was later acquired by two entrepreneurs, Chris Burch and James McBride, who with happy intuition turned it into an Eden far from the world, where to spend a dream holiday in peace, in contact with lush nature without thinking about anything, except the pleasure of living, knowing and discovering.
270 hectares of Nature, 27 Villas and 2.5 km of Private Beach
NIHI Sumba consists of a group of 27 villas, each different from the others, but all carefully built and surrounded by greenery, equipped with a private pool and large indoor and outdoor spaces. In the villas the TV is absent, as if to underline the detachment from the reality that is left behind when one is staying at the NIHI. A personal butler takes care of all guests’ needs.
Meals can be consumed directly in the villas, or in one of the various restaurants (Ombak is the main one), beach clubs or even organized in specific places, destination for excursions in the surrounding area.
There are numerous activities available, ranging from sports (eg Fishing, Kite Surfing, Surfing, Snorkeling) to discovering the highlights of the island (Blue and Lapopu Falls, Nature Safaris etc.), up to a visit to the Factory of Chocolate inside the structure itself. Obviously a Spa is not lacking to restore body and mind, taking care of oneself.
What else to say, if not include in this article some more pictures than we are used to …? An image can be worth more than a thousand words and to dream, after all, costs nothing. And who knows, one day, dreams don’t come true?
