In an exclusive “Motu” in front of Mount Otemanu, this luxury resort allows the lucky few to admire the very essence of French Polynesia.
A place, French Polynesia, which in the collective imagination has always corresponded to an Eden where to take refuge to escape the negativity of the civilized world.
Here, lush nature and local traditions have attracted travelers and artists of all sorts since the discovery of these islands, almost scattered in the immensity of the Pacific, coming from everywhere to find creative inspiration or an inner peace impossible to find elsewhere.
Suffice it to mention the names of the painter Paul Gauguin or, in more recent times, of the great solitary navigator “Tamata” Bernard Moitessier.
Certainly, at the beginning of the third millennium, things have changed a lot and Polynesia, like almost every other remote place on the globe, has become a tourist destination (albeit as selective and remote as you like) like many others. However, it is undeniable that names like Bora Bora, Tahiti or Moorea continue to exert an irresistible charm.
And it is for the lucky ones who can afford a similar journey that the Hotel Le Meridien in Bora Bora (Marriott Group) is an ideal location to stay. It is in fact placed on a secluded “Motu” (small island) not far from the coast of the beautiful Polynesian island. This allows you to admire the splendid panorama of Bora Bora, seen through a lagoon of enchanted colors.
Recently renovated, Le Meridien offers all the comforts of an exclusive hotel through numerous types of rooms, suites and villas, placed either directly on the Motu, or on stilts directly in the lagoon. Wide spaces, private terraces, transparent floors and the same location of the single units allow an unforgettable experience completely immersed in nature.
At guests’ disposal there are two restaurants (Le Te Ava and Le Tipanié) that offer a refined international cuisine cleverly mixed with the traditional Polynesian one and two bars (Pool Bar and Miki Miki Bar). All, needless to say, immersed in a breathtaking panorama.

There are also numerous possible activities available, among which we emphasize the Diving Center and above all the Ecological Center where, thanks to the constant commitment of Le Meridien, a program of protection and care of the Marine Turtles has been active since 2000. People can visit it and participate in numerous educational activities.
Note: the whole area of Le Meridien Bora Bora is Smoking Free, so people who smoke must take this into account when planning a stay at this hotel. But on the other hand, given the place we believe that the “sacrifice” is absolutely worth it.
